WALMART LOOKBOOK

Listen, I know this blog might seem unappealing at first but please trust me. Walmart is a haven for affordable basics that actually look and feel great. In addition to Walmart, I'll be mentioning other stores where you can find incredible basics for cheap and give you different ways to style them. A big factor to me when dressing for class is comfort. When I say this I do mean literally feeling cozy in the clothing, but I also mean I feel content and confident with how I look. A huge trend I have been following that fits this just right, is: streetwear meets luxury sweatpants. If that doesn't make sense then think of Billie Eilish or I.AM.GIA tracksuits. And, again I know, wearing lounge clothes to school also might seem unappealing, but this is where some styling comes into play.
Black turtleneck from H&M ($7)
So firstly, I start off with a basic top, keeping in mind that I'll be layering something over it. I have developed a love for turtlenecks because they can be seen with most, if not all, necklines. I rotate between neutral colors like white and black, but primary colors can also be fun to pair under a neutral pullover. I've added in some gold hoops to make the look feel more sophisticated.
Red crewneck from Walmart ($7)
Next, to spice up this look, I have added a red crewneck from Walmart in a bright red color, perfect for fall. For the bottom half of this look I would pair this with black jeans, leggings or even matching red sweatpants if I was feeling extra bold. To dress the outfit up more, I would toss on some gold chains and some rings.
Another option is to add a basic long sleeve t-shirt
Now, let's talk sweatpants. In another absolute steal from Walmart, I picked up two pairs of men's sweatpants in black and red for $7 each. I love them so much, and have been wearing them non-stop.
Wearing these sweats in a more casual style
In this outfit, I've combined the top look with the sweats which look great together since the pants tie in the color of the turtleneck. I've thrown on some Calvin Klein boxers which adds a tomboy flare to the outfit, which I adore.
Paired with a white turtleneck from H&M ($7)
Lastly, I did some D.I.Y magic on my red pair of sweats and cut them into shorts. It's gotten fairly cold in Connecticut so I haven't been able to get my use out of them, but these shorts are amazing. They don't fit tight around my legs which is a huge plus for me, and the color really adds a spark to the look.

I hope these super cheap styles helped inspire you and your class style, as well as shown you that being on trend, comfy and spending-efficient is something that is very realistic. - Char
